SEO
Before you spend a penny on ads, it's worth checking whether you're even showing up for the searches that matter most — the ones where someone has already decided they want a remap and is just looking for who to call.
Three things move the needle most for a local tuning business:
Your Google Business Profile. This is the single biggest local ranking factor, and it's free. Make sure it's claimed, fully filled out, has real photos of your work, and — critically — has genuine reviews. A profile with 20 real reviews will consistently outrank a nicer website with none.
Location-specific pages. A single homepage that says "we cover the whole county" ranks far worse than dedicated pages for each town you actually serve — "ECU remapping in Chelmsford," "ECU remapping in Colchester," and so on. Google rewards specificity.
Consistent business details everywhere. Your name, address and phone number should match exactly across your website, Google profile, and any directory listings. Inconsistencies quietly undermine how much Google trusts your listing.
Local SEO is a slower burn than ads — it can take a few months to see real movement — but once you're ranking, those leads keep coming in at zero cost per click. It's the compounding half of a marketing plan that ads alone can't give you.
